My name is Anne Pirkkanen. I’m the Founder, Coach and Trainer at Version 2 of ME Communication and the mother of two international girls. My mother tongue is Finnish, Spanish, and English, and I’m also learning German now. So, we speak four languages at home.

I’m passionate about Effective Communication and Public Speaking in multilingual environments. I help Professionals in the tech space communicate their ideas to audiences at conferences. I believe in honest communication, and I’m motivated by helping people become better versions of themselves by communicating with intention and connecting with people. I offer 1:1 coaching and group training services in Switzerland and online.

About the Role

I’m establishing my business here in Switzerland and returning to work after my maternity leave. So, as my Social Media and Administrative Virtual Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in managing the following:

  1. -My online presence
  2. -Keeping my business operations running smoothly
  3.  

In this part-time role, you will work remotely and independently for 15-20 hours a week over 4-5 days. No evenings or weekends required.The fixed salary will be agreed upon in the final interview, the days are flexible. I require our schedules to match 1-2 hours daily. This is mainly for a daily call to plan and align tasks. We will agree on goals and outcomes, while you will work independently and manage your own time during the week and keep me updated on progress and let me know when you need support.

Salary range is  USD 90-105 per week (USD 5-7/hr depending on your experience). Salary paid out weekly.

What I'm Looking for:

I’m seeking someone with an excellent level of English (B2 Intermediate or above written and verbal), an honest and strong work ethic with a can-do attitude who is eager to learn and grow in the role. You should have initiative, be keen to learn new things and be highly self-directed. You are willing to ask for help, let me know when you don’t understand a task and offer suggestions for improvement when you see them. I’m looking for someone to be with me long term and grow with the business. I will provide ample opportunities for you to learn new technologies and develop your skills, experience, and capacities.

Required Skills

-Good Verbal & Written communication in English (B2 Intermediate or above written and verbal)

-Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to complete tasks with little supervision

-Experience with online meeting software, online chat/instant messaging, and group-sharing platforms

-Understanding Social media marketing and creating campaigns

-Quick Problem-Solving skills with a can-do attitude

-Patience, transparency and consistency

-Ease with the use of new technology

-Must have knowledge using LinkedIn

-Good to know:  Buffer (or similar), YouTube, Active Campaign (or similar), Calendly (or similar), Trello (or similar), Canva (or similar)

-Tech in use but no prior experience required. On job training will be provided:  WordPress(basic), Yoast SEO (Basic), Google Analytics (Bssic), Google My Business

Education, Experience, and Licensing Preferences:

Must:

– 20 years and above

-College degree (or at least halfway through your program)

-Previous experience in a professional environment and fluency in standard business practices

-Stable internet connection, work-from-home setting and own equipment (Laptop or Desktop)

 

Preferred:

-Previous experience as a virtual assistant or related role 

-Previous experience in working remotely

Mid-September: selection of 3 finalists

From there, three finalists will have the opportunity to join the team for a paid week of work to find out how well we work together. 

Once all 3 candidates have completed their week, the final candidate will be offered a position starting immediately, by mid-October at the latest.
